Removal of minimum acquisition windows for collection tiers
On February 12, Capella will be removing the minimum acquisition windows for the Urgent, Priority, and Standard collection tiers. Currently, the minimum window for those tiers are 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days.
Following the change on February 12, users requiring an image be collected between 8 am and 10 am will be able to submit that exact window on the Urgent tier. Alternatively, if a customer has a number of requests that need to be collected in a single day but want to denote varying levels of prioritization for scheduling, they can submit the same window but different collection tiers for those requests.
API users must update their workflows to provide the windowClose when submitting a tasking request as the windowClose parameter will be required starting February 12. For Console, the default window for all tiers will be set to 24 hours. However, users can specify a Window Close date shorter than 24 hours for any collection tier.
