Once a new task with Tasking Tier of 1-Day, 3-Day, 7-Day or Routine (Repeat task) has been Accepted it is integrated into the official new imaging schedule and it will be acquired and delivered (barring any anomalies or errors occur). There is no "bumping" of these accepted tasking requests by higher priority orders, meaning the Capella system will never cancel an accepted tasking request in order to accommodate another imaging request. However, these tasking requests can be automatically moved by the Capella system within the scope of the requested acquisition window duration or cancelled if an imaging restriction is imposed.
The Background Tasking Tier is treated differently and is the only type of tasking request that can be bumped from the schedule. For a task with the Background Tasking Tier, the image will be acquired and delivered to the customer if a higher priority order does not bump it from the schedule. A background task is considered to be an opportunistic collect satisfied only when there is available capacity and is therefore charged at a discounted rate.
