New
Capella Space has updated the login system for Console to leverage multi-factor authentication (MFA) from Okta. Additionally, the ability to create and utilize API keys to provide a more secure and scalable experience for the APIs has been rolled out.
Console login with multi-factor authentication
Every Console user received an email today prompting them to activate their Capella-provided Okta account, called Capella-Customer-Okta. The email looks like:
Users will then be guided through setting up a new login with MFA through Okta or Google Authenticator. This Capella-Customer-Okta login will replace the username and password currently utilized when logging into to https://console.capellaspace.com.
API Keys
Every user can now also generate up to three (3) unique API keys either in Console from the user profile page or via new endpoints to the Capella API, starting March 26.
Additional information about these new endpoints and how users can leverage them to create API keys can be found at the Capella API documentation site.
Migration to Okta and API keys should be completed by April 30. If you have not received your email or need assistance, please notify Capella Support at support@capellaspace.com.
