Tasking and SAR Data Access Release Notes - 13 January 2022
New Features
Zoom to image
The Capella Space Console application now provides users with the ability to zoom the map directly to the bounds of a specific image. This capability is available via the 'Results' list on the main map search screen as well as on the 'Image Properties' screen when a specific image is selected from the results list. An additional 'Zoom map to image boundary' icon is included on each of these screens.

Image properties
When this icon is clicked, the map bounds will automatically update to be slightly larger than the footprint of the scene so the entire image is visible in the map window.

Filter by image collection
A number of improvements have been made to the ability to filter search results by image collection.
First, the input values for the filter by image collection component have been converted from radio buttons to multi-select checkboxes.
Image collection filter as multi-select checkboxes
This provides users with the ability to filter results by any combination of image collections as opposed to seeing a single image collection at a time. This makes filter results more interactive and allows the user to drill down to more specific criteria.

Additionally, all image collections available to the user appear in the list of image collections. Previously, only a subset of hardcoded image collections were included in this list.
If all image collection values are cleared (no selection), all available collections will be included in the search results by default.
Improved image previews
Thumbnail preview images shown in search results and on the map have been enhanced to improve the visual clarity. The new previews have increased contrast, reduced saturation, and much more even brightness, which leads to a clearer image with sharper features.
All new collects will have the new image preview while previous collects will have their thumbnails updated over the next couple of days.
